Varelsen (Malmö, Sweden) has created an Animation for the award winning feature film “Sound of Noise”, directed by Ola Simonsson and Johannes Stjärne Nilsson. The film had its premiere in december 2010.
“Sound of Noise” is a 2010 Swedish-French comedy-crime film written and directed by Ola Simonsson and Johannes Stjärne Nilsson. It tells the story of a group of musicians who illegally perform music on objects in the various institutions of a city. The film is a follow-up to the 2001 short film “Music for One Apartment and Six Drummers”, which was made by Varelsen and followed the same basic concept. The title comes from the Italian futurist Luigi Russolo’s 1913 manifesto The Art of Noises. Found on belowtheclouds.com.

Sunday, 12 September 2010. Peter Gabriel made a stop with his 52 musicians and 23 tons of equipment at the Amphitheater in Avenches (Switzerland). The New Blood concert in Avenches was completely different as of the concert I saw a few months earlier this year in Berlin’s O2 Arena (see this post). The show was the most gigantic show ever performed in the Amphitheater (spokesman Michel May). I can strongly recommend his concert, completely without Guitar, Drums, Synthesizers.
Here are the Tour dates 2010 of the remaining concert locations in Europe. A new album will be released soon. Take a look at the YouTube movies below…
