I’ve recently finished working on the upcoming new skin of the well-known and popular webmail software Roundcube. It took several hundred hours in Photoshop and numberless cups of coffee to complete this comprehensive project. I’m currently not sure when the new skin will officially be released, therefore you should visit the support section on Roundcube.net or the WordPress Blog for any further information about release dates. Roundcube is a browser-based multilingual IMAP client with an application-like user interface. It provides full functionality you expect from an e-mail client, including MIME support, address book, folder manipulation, message searching and spell checking etc. If you’re running your own server, Roundcube might be the first choice for a great webmail system. The software is available for download on the official site Roundcube.net and is provided by a growing number of providers (i.e. Mediatemple.net). Roundcube is also part of the new Apple Mac OS X 10.7 Lion Server package.

Finished working on a promo trailer for the International Worldcup of sport climbing 2011, which is planned to take place in 2011 in Berne (Switzerland). The 136 seconds contain various title and logo animations, created in Adobe After Effects. The music has completely been composed in Apple Logic Pro (using Korg Triton Studio, Spectrasonics Omnisphere, several Native Instruments software tools and libraries).

Flint is creating a new website for an international removal company located in Berne. The website is going online in February 2010 and will be created in Typo3 and available in three languages. Flint is responsible for the design and production, all texts are created by Escribo.

The International Worldcup of sport climbing is planned to take place in Berne (Switzerland) 2011. Flint has created a two-minute-trailer to provide a taste of the upcoming event, using impressions of past worldcup events in Switzerland. The trailer contains photos and short film sequences, which were cut to a fast tempo.
The basic animations of the stills (photos) and various title and logo animations have been created in Adobe After Effects. The music has completely been composed in Apple Logic Pro and finally has been put together with further stills, film sequences and animations in Final Cut Pro.

Several months later, a big step is completed: bueroflint.com is done. Some more projects will follow soon. Shortly I will continue working on the chapter “Photos”, which will become available on bueroflint.com in November with photos taken from my trips to Scandinavia.
Until then there’s a lot of work to do: I have to complete working on a trailer til end of October. More information will follow shortly.
